Pearly Young Pantry

Pearly Young was a sunday school teacher who ran a pantry 77 year old in buffalo chicago 

The vision to create the pearly young pantry came from first a need in the community and second an inspiration from a 77 year old school teacher who ran a pantry for 25 who lost her life on May 15 2022 in the mass buffalo shooting. Our aim at the pantry is to serve with love, target the physical need, in hopes of getting to the root of the problem with each individual we serve 

We offer a hot meal, groceries, and household goods. In the 3 21/2 years of existence we have expanded from one hot meal on the third saturday at one site. To now operate at three sites providing more than just food services.
